Yield Farming Concept
Yield Farming, also referred to as liquidity mining, is the way liquidity providers can generate more rewards. In simple terms, it means locking up liquidity and getting rewards.
In some sense, yield farming can be paralleled with staking. However, there’s a lot of complexity going on in the background. The main difference is that in staking, tokens are locked and, in yield farming, a pool’s liquidity is generally locked.
What is a Yield Farming Vault? It’s basically a smart contract that contains funds. In return for locking liquidity in the vault, liquidity providers get a reward.
